I need to get the Scooby serviced urgently, anybody know any garages close to Irlam/Trafford Park, Manchester ??? (Work not home !!!). Out of warranty, so doesn't need to be official dealer, just highly recommended.

Try Subaru Manchester they seem excellent a lot cheaper than main dealers.They are out in Levenshulme but e-mail me and i'll tell you exactly where.I would give you their web adress but its down at the moment.

Ended up using C&K/Subaru Manchester in Longsight.

In a word excellent...

Car hasn't felt as good in over a year....
Hesitation I had quite a lot in 1st gear has now disappeared, and the service picked a few problems out that only a very good inspection would find. Very impressed...
I'll be going back very soon for the rear brakes and a rocker gasket fixing.

Oh and it probably saved me nearly £100 on a Subaru dealer service with the few extras they fixed at the same time.
