Yeah I watched a trailer on there earlier, not the comparison one though!

Gamer.tv on Bravo compared this a while ago. They reconned that apart from the motion control on the Wii the PS3 and Xbox360 versions were identical.

John@TunerUK 15 July 2007 05:49 PM

In that vdeo the Xbox clearly has the edge over the PS3. The Wii is nowhere near either of them though.

Call of Duty 3 360 version was just a tarted up version of the xbox game tho, Call of Duty 4 is the first in the series truly rewritten to take advantage of the 360 hardware,

Cant afford the ps3 or 360 but bought the missus a wii that she begged for a xmas.
Got call of duty 3 and its fantastic.... not tried it on others tho

Mate has a ps3. The only comparison we drew was that you could not have more than one player on the ps3 online from the same machine for play where as on the 360 you can have up to four players.

Not that its very practical to have four players mind but me and a mate meet once a week to have dual screen online play.

How would that work then? Would your screen be split up into 4?

More games should have the option to have more than one player online on the same machine. So far I have only found CoD,GoW & PES that lets you do it on 360. Loads of games don;t and it's really irritating - especially ones that would be really suited to it, like Tiger Woods/PGR/Forza etc.

Call Of Duty 3 has highly disappointing, not a patch on No.2 - at least the multiplayer was an improvement but the single player was just too repetetive.

Cant really comment on the graphics between the consoles, not really a game I want to go back to...

COD 3 was also not developed by Infinty Ward which didn't help, but do a search for COD 4 Modern Warfare (as this is by Infinity Ward) it looks fantastic

messiah 16 July 2007 10:26 AM

Agreed, COD4 looks amazing - if it has co-op play it could be a alternative to the GRAW series...

Iain Young 16 July 2007 11:17 AM

I just hope it's not quite so "on rails" as the previous games...

Precisely. Works well with two players but ou then have issues with the HUD getting in the way if you then include 3+ players.

Regards

PS. I'm looking forward to COD4 too!!
