Which classic pre 96 ecu`s come fitted with a chip holder?
 

Anyone know what pre 96 ecu`s come with a chip holder already fitted so a chip can be plugged straight in and the J1 link cut???

My Z5 has one.

if you buy a chip from ESL or someone else (www.polarperfromance.co.uk) who sells them they should supply 1 for you.
But as far as i know the u8,w6 and z4 don't (i've had all of these and was told if they had a holder then they had been chipped in the past)

import wrx ecu's need soldering but uk ecu's has the slot so you can plug the chip straight in no soldering needed and cut j1:thumb:
