Buying a "Fresh Import" - Pro's & Con's?

As im new to Subaru's im after some advice if possible.

Im going to view an Impreza WRX from Car Planet Ltd in Warrington tomorrow.

It's advertised on there site as a "Fresh Import" meaning I will be the 1st UK OWNER.

Is there anything I should ask to see with regards to documentation?
As i know some companies out there buy from UK docks which are of poor grade then tart them up for re-sale.

So what documentation should i receive with the car if i purchase it?
What documentation should i be able to view if they are unable to give it to me? auction sheet etc... etc...?

Im really interested in the car and im going with the intention of buying, but if its dodgey and rough i will indeed wall away.

Can some fellow Subaru owners give some useful advice?

Greatly appreciated.

Adam.

Check the "Certificate of Conformity" that shows it is a parallel import and is UK spec.

Look for the usual stuff, some imports still have the service book, you may not understand it but stamps in the right place are good! Look for condition, damage and leaks etc etc etc.
