If you buy a car for under £5000 you could insure it for third party fire and theft.

Your excess would usually be £200 - £500.

I'm insured for my STI RA 1995 for around £360 third party fire and theft, if I prang it then its my problem but I dont drive it around like a goon.

I may sell mine for around that price, check my scoob on the left.
