ChristianR 29 December 2001 12:24 PM

thanks - better than nothing though! especially when it is japanese!

InvisibleMan 29 December 2001 12:30 PM

when you translate words then translate them back you get completely different words

ChristianR 29 December 2001 12:35 PM

really? lol

ChristianR 29 December 2001 12:37 PM

i see what you mean..

"hi i love you"

from english to spanish

"alto amante de i usted"

from spanish back into english

"high lover of i you"

InvisibleMan 29 December 2001 12:39 PM

now thats interesting, earlier i did "i love you", translate it back & i got "him master"

InvisibleMan 29 December 2001 12:51 PM

"high lover of i you"

- that is understandable, i have a spanish friend and when she writes to me in english that is what she writes. All languages have that order of words, its just english thats different

ChristianR 29 December 2001 01:02 PM

hehe doesn't make sense to me if someone said that to me!

InvisibleMan 29 December 2001 01:18 PM

its easy to understand, you just mentally rearrange the words, but sometimes you have to wait till the end of the sentence then the noun arrives so you know what shes talking about LOL :D

InvisibleMan 29 December 2001 01:37 PM

example, just watching "much ado about nothing" in ye olde Shakespearian english...
