NON TURBO 2.0 HELP OR TURBO?
 

HI, I HAVE A X REG 2.0 SPORT AND AM A GOOD ENGINEER WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO IMPROVE MY 2.0 SPRT NON TURBO POWER OR IS IT EASY TO FIT IN A TURBO LUMP ???

hi im in the same boat

there are not so many ways to get extra power from the sport,

you could super charge it, but its costly and the main problem is getting the fueling correct with an after market ecu, however it has been done, you'll see 170-190 bhp.

fitting a turbo really is a no no as the compression ratio is out,

fitting a trubo engine will require the full ecu and loom, as well as keys. the drive train, poss suspension brakes petrol tank etc,

best bet would be to buy a wrote off car and swap every single bit,

but with the current drop in prices of turbos it would be easier to buy a turbo for 5k lol

dont forget you will need to insure your modified sport afterward

yeah i suppose, its just that my scooby looks so good and is so clean i wont find another like it its become sentimental - perhaps nitrous hehe
