Would it make a difference?? Chip advise plz
 

Does it really make any difference if a chip is installed in a u8, 2c or z4 ecu???? I mean if a chip was installed in the 2c ecu would it still put out the same power as a chipped z4???

The chip will replace the map on the ecu (cutting the J1 resistor),if you want to return it to standard remove the chip and solder the J1 resistor.

So basically a chipped Z4 will be the same as a chipped u8 because the chip runs the car not the factory map.
