1995 turbo insurance
 
first off hi to everyone 1st post and all il jump straight in iv got a saxo vts atm and nxt april im looking to buy a scoob phase1 turbo my best insurance quote was £2850 or close to it that was: (only 100 quid more than the vts!)

Fully comp
£400 excess
9000 miles a year
sp50 speeding
0NCB
and going forward a year 21

would this be a gd quote or should i get one cheaper that was the best from moneysupermarket.com

all your help apreciated

is swinton specialist going to be the same as swinton? also do u think that keith michaels company will beat either quotes? thanks

hi fella. well i havent got a father, and my mother doesnt drive.

totally in my name. no other drivers, even the mrs doenst drive.

oh i feal like a fool sorry, thanks 4 the link il try it tommorow when iv gt time hoping to be round that figure tho bt iv gt a conviction bt 40 monthes driving by then so hopefully fingers crossed il get a gd quote cheers andy :cool:

no worries. you didnt know my situation so dont worry about it.

keep us updated anywho mate.

also being a non smoker and having a mortgage since 20 has helped with getting insured on performance cars

lol what insurance companys are so random! my mums going to be a named driver on my policy aswell but im not going to be getting a scoob till nxt april/may so its a while yet much to my own dissapointment bt it gives me time to save!

maybe its your age and its an import that have buggered your quote up. if you were a year older maybe with a uk car, sure it would be similar to my quote. that was last december too.

yeah most probably the age il have to go on my mums until im 22 bt the car i was using as a dumby car was a uk 1995 m plate ohwell ages to go yet il just keep making custom scoobs in forza lol its cheaper!

im 18 and been quoted £2097 by liverpool victoria for a 96 turbo impreza!fairly gud quote i thought considering my age...thts with a yrs no claims.

what are your conditions though? have you any parents on the policy, do you live at home with them or by yourself?
