Another fine example of why many people think Impreza owners are twats, but then the same could be leveled at many different marques, there are stupid drivers everywhere.

If you want to drive at silly speeds then please do it on a track, and not on the public road where you could injure yourself and passenger(s), but more importantly, risk the lives of other innocent drivers on the road. Yes you could drive at that speed on an unrestricted autobahn, and, yes I have done so (though the poor ol wagon wouldn't go that quick anyway :D), but it was at a time when there was extremely light traffic, and I don't think myself big, hard, or clever for doing so.

If I had been doing it in the UK, I'd certainly not post up a video of it, there's always a chance someone could find out who you are and Mr Plod could wait for you to attempt your ultra-hard, "I'm-the-man" type feat again, and then nick you for it.

i once did 141 acording to my sat nav but it wasn't in this country and it was legal to do sp there.. scared the sh@t out of me and would you beleive other cars were over taking me like i was stood still.. crazy germans they all seem to own porker turbo's for some reason.. wouldn't ever do it again anywhere not even autobahn.. on my bike its too scary at 120 so dont ever push it over the 80 mark as its nerve wrecking at that speed.. 160 in the uk on a suel carriage way is stupid but makes for good you tube vids...

Looking at the Dash its a Type R/RA so what are they geared to for 7k in 5th? just out of interest, never going to try and be that stupid,

The speed is displayed in kph. Notwithstanding the fact that he may have had it converted thats a lot slower than 160 mph. Ra's are geared to do 20 mph/1000 rpm in top.

Definately something Amiss with that speedo, When he pulls the Camera back after saying nearly there mate & you get a view of a tranny van & the hedgerows, It's all passing far to slowly & there's no way he would slow down from 160 to 60 ish that quick..

No way that was doing 160 mph. Got there too quickly and slowed down too quickly. Also doubt it would be easy to do those speeds on dual carriageway with those bends, traffic and roundabouts. Was in a friends Jag XJS many years ago (obviously in Germany!) doing 155 and it scared the **** outta me. The scenery hit time warp and it took some braking to get it down to 70mph. Unless this was Andy Forrests car me thinks there is something fishy!
