Current 2/3 yr Fixed Rate Mortgage Deals

Mines up for renewal end of July so after another deal. Anyone recently got a decent fixed rate? Britannia BS looks pretty competitive at 5.54% for 2 and 5.79% for 3 yr with £399 product fee.

Cheers,
Simon

Seems pretty good. Had a quick look here but most of them with lower rates have high arrangement fees: Best Fixed Rate Mortgage - Fixed Rate Remortgage - UK Online Mortgage Broker - Charcol

Speaking to my financial advisor yesterday about the same thing, he said it's a bit of a nightmare at the moment, rates vary from one day to the next as no one quite seems to know what's going to happen with the interest rates over the next few years (even the next few months!).

Yes its a bit of a pain at the moment. Fortunately we don't do many mortgages but it seems as soon as an adviser recommends a product and rate, its been taken off the market for something else - usually with a higher rate.

I had to renew mine last monday and I got a 5 year fix at 5.89% apr with no fee. This was with the C&G who I was already with so dont know if this was a fee for existing customers. I just phone them and said what was your best deal on a fixed rate and they asked would I leave for another lender, I said yes if someone has a better rate.
Cheers col

Ive got ring up existing mortgage company (YBS) today. Looked online and their 3yr for existing and new mortgage holders is 6.29% but no fees whatsoever. Hopefully they drop that when I say Im gonna leave.

Wonder where the rates going to go.

I'm 4.9% fixed for another 3 years (5yr fixed). Looks like it's going to cost a fair whack more when this ends!

Dunfermline Building Society do a 10 year fixed rate if you aren't looking at shifting any time soon.
