I actually feel so gutted its not even funny im close to tears sadly. Never had a car where I have actually cared for it like a person lol. I treated that car like a baby =(

its your own fault, no sympathy im afraid. if you were in my situation last year when my wrx started knocking, be a little different. but why sell if your unhappy.

to me evos are just superbikes with 4 wheels. less character than a set of revolving doors.

I have owned 2 Evo 7's, both FQ 300's. Dreadful day to day car. Severe tramlining, absolutely crap build quality, no sealant under the bonnet around the weld seams, so rust on both car's, crappy, notchy gearchange in both cars, quite common unless your lucky to have an un-notchy gearchange. Yes, can maybe go round corners a little quicker than some Scoobs, but do you want to take corners at 90mph EVERY time you go for a drive?

A nice car if the gears change properly, the fuel tank is bigger and the servicing isn't every 4500 miles.

On my 4th Impreza now, best car I have ever owned, and that's only going because I simply do not have time to use it as often as I would like to.
