On a stock map, you'll need a VTA dumpvalve (Vent To Atmosphere).
I could sit and explain exactly how all this works, but to be honest i can be ar5ed. The use of a VTA DV basically causes a momentary rich condition when lifting off the throttle underboost. This momentary rich condition causes an amount of unburnt fuel vapour to come down the exhaust pipe. This unburnt fuel is then ingited by a sparkplug mounted in your tailpipe. Thus.. ultimate chav flamage is born :D |
