What to fill old spoiler holes with????
Hi all, ive just collect my new car, a my95 wrx and the previous owner had a different spoiler put on, its original spoiler was the low level one which is attached to the boot lid in the middle yet the new one is attached at each end, he didnt bother filling the previous holes with anything and has just put some tape over them, what is the proper way to fill these holes?
many thanks dave |
Just having this done myself at the moment.
the best way is to weld under the hole to give a base, then fill angd paint but the paint will need blending in |
as above ^^ or you can get some clear vinal, add some touch up paint and then put some more clear vinal over the top to make a colour matched section of vinal.
cut this into a tiny little circle and place over the hole, 95% of people will never notice it, i have seen this done on a few "show" cars |
is there not a simpler way? :wonder:
