Bits, bobs and erm...things?

Having recently (just this week) acquired a classic '98 Impreza, I've been going through the car with a fine-tooth comb looking for any little things it needs to make it whole again.

And all I can find are the little plastic button clips etc that hold the trim in place (particularly the boots trim) as there are a lot missing from there, or at best, there, but really loose?!

Where is the best place to source a packet of these? Halfords etc have 'similar' trim buttons, but nothing the same.

Subaru dealer I'm thinking?:wonder:

I would VISIT a Scoob dealer. Most parts guys are only too willing to help, but the myriad of clips etc make their life very difficult.

Once they are oredered and paid for, they'd send 'em you in a JiffyBag.

If you scout round the right places, you may be able to get hold of a cd called Subaru Parts

From here you can find the part number of what you need and just take that to the dealer, thats what I used to do when I needed anything as it saves them a lot of time, and I know I get exactly what I need :)

Excellent source of stuff there man, cheers for that!:thumb:

As for the Subaru Parts CD...would I be correct in thinking an eBay special? Oh oh...on that note, what way is it fixed for Classic Imports like mine though?!:eek2:

Ebay might be a good bet :)

AFAIK they share a lot of similar or the same parts, only some of the engine internals and management and other bits n bobs are different

I have never had a problem with mine (Dutch import) on getting a lot of the air con bits n bobs I needed to finish the install I did :)

Most of the stuff you can get from Hellfrauds.. :)

But that auto-connect site above is brilliant! I wonder if they have got the side skirt clips on there :D
