Max boost on TD05-16G with 390 cc injectors?

As pr. title. At what boost will the standard classic 390 cc injectors be at a 100% with the TD05-16G? I am trying to figure out if I need to upgrade them.

Thanks in advance

Here's the graphs from the last time mine was RR'd. Not an exact answer to your question for max boost, but my car runs a 16G with the standard 380cc injectors.

Hope this is of help.

So what you are saying is that they are at a 100% at around 16 psi?

depends on the fueling i.e if it's mapped to run 11.2AFR or running in the mid 10's are per a stock ECU.
If it's mid 10's it will be about 100% at 1.1bar
if it's 11.0-11.2 it will be around 95%-97% from readings I have made in 380c and 1.1bar

The car is currently running with one of your chips Scott, so I guess it should be 95-97% then. The issue is that if possible I would like to up the boost a little, this ofcourse would need some changes to move the fuelcut, but would it be safe? I would like to get a live remap, but since I live in Denmark options on the phase 1 cars are more than limited. Car specs:

94 GT Turbo, changed heads to RA WRX heads.
Revolution 3" exhaust with 3" H&S catted DP.
Walbro pump and Fuelab reg. currently set for 3.2 bar at idle.
KN panel filter and cold airfeed from front of the car.
STI v3 TMIC.
NGR R7 plugs.

Would it be safe to do a postal map for a car with the specs above?

Thanks

Not if your wanting to run more then 1.1bar no.....
My map is set to run between 11.2AFR and the stock settings, due to it being a postal map (i.e it has to be mapped extra safe).

you will get more headromm from your 380's though with the FPR.

sorry for a slight hijack, but interestingly I run 380cc injectors on stock regulator and my car is mapped for 1.2bar (power fc and avcr) yet my injector duty is only in the low 90's max. Would that mean I have a bad afr or could it be the fuel pump overpowering the regulator? (pump is a walbro, this on a 92wrx)

RRE 11 June 2007 09:09 AM

It could be that your are running higher fuel pressure than standard?

RRE 11 June 2007 09:15 AM

But as I see it I still need a way to get my car to the UK for a mapping :-(
