Oops - dodgy thread alert....1st post - not checked archives so apologies if answers in there.

Currently driving a 993 but impending fatherhood means that it's got to go. Am looking for an RB5 - big price range for those on sale?? Is that just mileage or are there any things a newbie needs to look out for? Any big bills to be wary of? Indy history ok?

I can't help too much, but will try to give a better answer than eeeeee.

They vary from £7000-£10000 depending on condition.

Being a '99 car they could suffer from weak MAF sensors, so might be worth checking it that has been changed recently.

They often tend to have been owned by enthusiasts, so will be a lot of well looked after ones out there.

There is a RB5 owners club where you might get better info, i think it is RB5 Owners Club Website
