y plate Impreza wrx

been offered a Y reg wrx (black), 66k on the clock and totally bog standard for £7000 or a swap with my 04 plate Revo'd Leon Cupra

does this sound like a good deal and is there anything i should be looking out for with the scoob??? cambelt change? typical bodywork/mechanical issues with a car of this age???

any advice appreciated. would rather do my homework before i jump in!

cheers,

I'd rather have the Cupra, it's probably a bit quicker and the WRX won't feel that special to you.

7k for a 'Y' reg WRX seems a little over the top considering the mileage.

I wouldn't ask that for mine and its 6 months older with 41k.

There's one for sale on here (In the fastest colour ;) ) that's probably a better bet:

34k miles classic turbo 2000

Y Reg. would be a Bug-Eye .... considered the least desirable of all Imprezas.

£7000 is very expensive for that - get a Classic for much less and they are better cars, faster, nicer looking.

Keep the Seat otherwise you will regret it. As said the bugeye over priced.
