Pirates of the Caribbean 3

To save you going, visualize the following, for three hours having binned the best part of fifty quid.

Arrr
Swirly whirlpool watery thing, Arrrr
Everybody swap sides 12 times, Arrrr
Lots of exploding boats, Arrrr
Pompous English blokes in uniform, Arrrrrr
Johnny Depp doing and Impression of Keith Richards, Arrr
Keith Richards, Arrr
Orlando Bloom over acting, Arrrse
Kiora Knightly, Arrrrr
Gareth off the Office as Gareth of the Pirate ship, Arrrrr
Creepy Black Voodoo woman who eats to Many Black-Jacks and talks like Comfort the paramedic out of Casualty, Arrr

Totally confusing, same as the second one, not worth the bother, special effects good but very tedious.

I took my lad and it was that boring I bit my fingernails till they bled.

I nodded off at least 10 times!! Very boring, much the same as the 2nd one, neither film a patch on the 1st.

apples24 04 June 2007 10:10 PM

hmn i thought it was ok some well funny bits too

Bonehead 04 June 2007 10:11 PM

In agreement with the above.

Confusing and boring story, too long and not enough funny bits from Johnny Depp

Nearly fell asleep loads of time and took to throwing popcorn at the g/f's top to keep awake.

Get a grip it was brilliant. You should have all watched POTC 2 before you went that would have helped get rid of the confusion.

Well I liked it:thumb:

PS: Why did it cost you the best part of £50:wonder: Did you have gold plated tickets or something:)

I took MrsD to Didsbury to watch it last week and it only cost me just over a tenner:)

Phawr-oo-arrrrrr :D

Great film, but lest we forget its a 'DISNEY' film, so it was never going to be blood, guts, sex and a great story line ;)

It was what it was, a great family film with a few chuckles thrown in....:thumb:

3 hours DID seem excessive though, and I'm guessing a shed load was chopped out as they story jumped at times without direction....*Film 2007 Music....dum, dum dum, da-da-da-dum* :D

ScoobLou 05 June 2007 08:28 AM

I didn't actually watch it in over here, but you're not wrong:)

The only trouble with watching films over here is the Thai subtitles. Although last time I went it here, it did cost me less than two quid for the ticket, the snacks and the drink:D

i liked the first 2 quite alot, but the 3rd is a big dissapointment!
