Can anyone recommend a clutch for a MY 95 WRX. STI or AP?
The car is used for commuting, no track days.
Also if there is anywhere in the North East that can supply and fit?

Cheers

I had an AP clutch (rated to 350bhp) fitted by Power Engineering earlier this year.
I haven't had any problems with it apart from a bit of juddering when cold which is normal on a Scooby.

I don't know any places in the North East though.

I just had an STi paddle clutch fitted into the RA.

My Legacy RS pull-type clutch was slipping like buggery all through the gears after the last round of power mods.

It loves 6000rpm launches now, regularly spins all 4's, and not only in 1st. It judders like a bitch though, if I had to drive in traffic every day I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I do.

I know many people who had paddle clutches removed after only a week though due to the loss of drivability, hence I got an awesome deal.

Bottom line: unless you're making really good power and want to go hard, I wouldn't get a paddle clutch.
