The Weather
Just checked out the weather forecast on the BBC and guess what....................bloody rain is forecast
Could be a re-run of last years lashing, bloody English weather :hjtwofing Nik. |
yep,. looks like itll be another total washout this year.....fun times :)
|
Hope its not as bad as last year:brickwall Think ill leave the PS2's on then
|
It maybe getting better.
Checked earlier and it forecasted 3-4mm of rain Now it looks a little better Metcheck.com - Global Weather Forecasts - [Updated on 22 May 2007 at 23:00] - Weather Feeds - Live Data - Long Range Weather Forecasts |
if they say rain it shines ands vice versa - so im looking forward to a great SSO.
Sleeper |
Hope it does stay dry for the spectators sake, it keeps changing on metcheck, its usually pretty accurate.
|
Rain and Wind was forcast for Japfest last weekend
You should see my sunburnt forhead ;) What do the weather forcasters know anyway |
You can be as optimistic as you like, we all know it's going to piss it down  funny thing is, they moved it a week forward this year and guess what the weather was like last weekend :lol1:
|
Japfest organisers obviously paid a little more for the weather :D
|
Sadly, metcheck is usually pretty accurate for elvington! :(
|
Better get lots of SIDC umbrellas on the stand then ;)
|
Yes, i`m affraid it`s going to be 12degrees only and rain, my sister lives not far from there and it looks bad for sunday....:( :(
|
Not looking much better Down South
Southend [Europes Largest FREE Airshow] usually attracts "good" weather :( |
checked the 5 day forecast for york first thing this morning and it was really really wet looking, just checked it again 5 mins ago and its had a slight change
BBC - Weather Centre - 5 Day Forecast in Celsius for York, United Kingdom maybe not all doom and gloom then :) |
:luxhello: :luxhello:
|
Don't worry.. we've booked good weather, they just don't want to make it obvious, or people will get suspicious! :D
Forcast is looking dry now. I reckon it'll improve during the week. It'll still be great anyway. A bit of wet on the track will spice up the handling circuit! :D |

anyway dry track is for wimps http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ilies/sofa.gif |
BBC is usuall wrong
Metcheck.com - Global Weather Forecasts - [Updated on 23 May 2007 at 11:00] - Weather Feeds - Live Data - Long Range Weather Forecasts Elvington is a very different weather climate to York itself, its almsot like a micro climate. |
Well i looked on bbc and it said sun but 12-C:norty:
|
The weather only changed after i cancelled the hotel :brickwall and decided to go camping instead :cuckoo:, But saving me £112 :luxhello:. My first Subaru event so the weather is not going to spoil it for me. Can Not wait:thumb:

There are some slight discrepancies as well depending on whether you choose 'Elvington' or 'YO41 4AU'
The latter is slightly more favourable, at the moment, the points are about a mile apart, and the post code is still a few hundred yards from the track area, so it may pass us all by:Suspiciou |
Rain or Shine - Bring It on :)
|
I have a feeling it won't lash it down, but maybe a little moist at times.
Mmmmm, moist:) |
Dill your sounding more like jeremy Clarkson :)
|
Checked the forcast to-day and Sunday is not to good so the Scooby coat is going to come in handy:p
Do all the events still run if its lashing down? |

event will run if raining, 1/4m strip subject of course to clerk of course and appropriate tyres :-) usually the 1/4m can continue all day unless we get the same amount of torrential rain as last time!
handling cct wont be a problem :-) |
