DO NOT REMOVE THIS!
After quite a few people doing this, so did i. But the effect it has on the car isn't positive, a Rollin' Road day proved this, my induction curve was less of a curve and more like somebody having a heart attack! Needless to say, the resonator is back in and the car is quicker now! So DON'T DO IT! :) Alex |

May be a daft question but what is the resonator ? , do you mean the air box housing, as i've recently had problems after fitting a K & N replacement filter element Sandman. |
The resonator sits inside the driver's side wing, the air box and funnel (for want of a better word) attach to it..
Chuck has the K&N filter on his, may be worth swapping notes with him... I'm gonna stick with the ITG panel filter, as per TSL's recommendation. May be worth taking yours to a rolling road, to see if it spiked like mine... Rgds, Alex |
