Exhaust Parts On The Way!

After a bit of research, a lot of advice from various sources, especially Gaz:notworthy , I have took the plunge and ordered the Afterburner Cat Pipe, Centre Section and Ninja II back box :luxhello: .

Not bad - it's only taken 9 days of ownership and the mods are startin:norty:

Also ordered some bulbs as a couple of us are going to have a group detango shortly!

Gonna try and post some before/after photos and sound clips if I can work out how! Reckon on the exhaust (and detango) being next Saturday, presuming the parts arrive by then!

This is only the beginning . . . .

In fact they started on Friday, took the STi logos off the front mud flaps, removed the STi and Type UK badges from the boot (going to do the rest but it's bloody slow), took the Stealers naff sticker off and the deadlock one from the side window - just trying to clean it up a bit!

How long does Scoobyworld normally take to deliver?

Can't wait for the BURBLE!

:notworthy SCOOBYWORLD!

Bits are here! Top guys.:luxhello:

Now can I fit it before lunch?:norty:

Four days.

I lasted four days before I fitted it - what is wrong with me? Too busy that's what!

Got the motor up on the ramp after work, quickly and easily removed the old parts - cat, next pipe/box and rear box. Unpacked the goodies, looking real good, well made/welded and the Ninja II looks superb! Glad to see the gaskets, a little sad tho' that the cone shaped gasket at the flexi joint was NOT included - a little miserable for £450 guys! Anyway cars not so old so could reuse the old one! The holes in the cat pipe are also to big to use the spring bolt setup without the addition of a couple of washers - no big deal. Fitted the parts one at a time, before tightening from the front to the back. Got to say the back box to middle section not very good fit - once tightened the middle pipe was hard against the floorpan - maybe I got a Monday mornin' pipe? Had to do some jiggery pokery with the mounts to align better. Not entirely happy with the way it's sitting at the mo, but forget that - you should hear it - :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :notworthy

On start up it's deep.

Deep and burbly.

Lovely.

Up to 2.5/3k burbly,burbly.

Deep.

And burbly.

Open the throttle above that and holy sh!t!

It sounds MEGA!

Then I had to go home and go to bed - coz I'm knackered - but tomorrow at 0630hrs when I go to work, I know everybody else in the street will be tucked up in bed, probably not working, but WIDE AWAKE after the Ninja II heads out:hjtwofing

Looking forward to doing some drivebys, hope to get some vids on soon. For the short burst of fun I had, I'd say it's more responsive - spools up better!

If anyone is thinking of one - stop thinking - DO IT;)
