HELP WITH DEALERSHIP PROBLEM

I have an 04 sti ppp....2nd gear started sticking and the problem got worse so with only a few weeks left on the warranty i decided to take it to the dealership.(robinsons in rochdale).I have rang 3 or 4 times and they said the gearbox was being stripped etc. After 3 weeks of being without a car i rang again and they said they built it back up but the gearbox was wining so they have ordered another gear.....Also last friday i asked them to do the 30 k service which they said no problem and it would be ready today. This morning my mrs told me she had taken the locking wheel nut out of the car by mistake before i took the car to the dealership and i'm presuming they would have needed this for the service.
Has anyone had any dealings with this company and am i in my rights to have a real go at them..Any advise would be appreciated.

Cheers

Is it just me, or wouldn't they have to take the wheels off to get the gearbox out?

:lol1: yeah

Me thinks you've been shafted :nono:

Unless they've drilled your locking nuts.. expect £100 bill for that :notworthy

er,dont think so.

the gearboxitself can be removed with the wheel still on,like when a clutch is replaced.

:wonder: they removed my wheels to do the clutch !

I thought because of the position of the engine it needed the wheels removing:idea:

yeah, not saying you dont remove the wheels, but it can be done without removing them.
i had my clutch done and didnt give them the locking wheel nut and the job got done, wheels left on as i asked.

alot easier without them on tho LOL
