Come on gang, any instructions written down for this? I know it's probably easy, but things always go wrong so.....

Its a MY00 and I'm taking off the standard back box and putting on a nice TSL one!

Any info much appreciated....

Dead easy.

Undo the 2 bolts that fasten it to your midsection. Use that relaesing agent stuff if necessary to stop you snapping the bolt off.
Squirt your mounting rubbers with WD40 and pull it off.

Fitting is the reverse of removal. Best done on ramps or axle stands. Your local Kwikfit will do it for you though for a tenner!

Clean up the flange surface of your midsection with sandpaper and use exhaust assembly paste. Make sure it's in the right position and tighten it up.

Hope this helps

Rich

Just to add to Rich's post, I found that the backbox hanger closest to the bumper and rear wheel actually unbolts, giving more movement to release the other supports.

Easy Tiger Mikey - not shy, just embarrassed by my inadequate twin pipe ;)

From Carlton in Lindrick - near Worksop.

Got the back box from Simon Burton who I believe you know?? Also got Trouser's numberplate which the DVLA are currently processing so not on the motor yet!
