STi 8 Scoop
 

Hi, i was thinking about getting an STi 8 scoop for MY 2003 WRX. I have found one on drmotorsport but it says for 2001-2002 only:wonder: where is the best place to buy these and will it be a straight swap. thanks

Got a genuine one from Ebay, these usually go for about £140ish mark.

For a copy try Ht Auto's who also trade on Ebay.
These don't have the struts of the OE though.

Revolution Performance Motorstore do an original but it'll cost about £200.

If you dont mind me asking how much does it cost from the dealers.

£170 mate, which i didnt think was too bad considering it is from subaru themselves.

That is a good price. I picked up a genuine ne i the right colour on ebay and its in spotless condition. Paid £140 delivered so from the dealer new and painted for £170 is a good price.

sorry mate subaru got it wrong, they phoned me yesterday telling me it was £170 unpainted, so i didnt take it:mad:

Grade A Subaru are selling GENUINE subaru STI 8 scoops for 90 quid.

Unpainted tho.

I had mine form japperformanceparts.co.uk £110 delivered.

It was wr blue which matched my car so no painting required and in excellent condition.

i have been on their website but there isnt an sti scoop that fits the 03wrx :wonder:

Give them a call m8 and ask to speak to Saj......there wasn't one shown when I bought mine, but if you look through the list of cars which they are breaking there are a few v8 STis there.

When I bought mine, I know for a fact that there was another one there in wr blue.

Do you know what the e-bay shop was called? and how much did you pay for it to be painted?

I've got some chargespeed one's left if you're interested mate frp or carbon fibre .
