From the looks of it I wouldn't have touched anything he was offering with a barge pole. Links with Viruses, and the "member" was basically unknown with only 15 posts all around the same time some chimp was trawling various car related sites offering "bits" and vanishing. :Suspiciou

I'm not sure at the moment whether the guy on the GTI-R board is genuine and has just had the advert 'hijacked' by a scammer for use on other boards or whether it's the same person.

I would love to know if it is the same guy

Just been in contact with the guy from GTR forum who is selling the scoob that should of been broken by J4RED. The seller is genuine and purchased the car at the beginning of April from J4RED, so when J4RED told me in March the parts i wanted had been stripped and were ready to go he was full of S***.
Shame the poor guy selling it had no idea that this J4RED guy had already sold pretty much all of the car, and sold the same parts twice!

No shock these days with the number of Chavs owning Imprezas. you're going to get skallies trying to rip people off.

I think there should be selling rules and if people don't stick to them the item is deleted. Simple things like a photo of the item with the persons username in the photo. People must have been a member for a set number of months and have a minimum of certain number of posts. I'm sure there are other things that could be done.

Unlucky fella, hope you get your dosh back! i have dealt with a few guys off here and never had a prob, did have a prob with one guy over some lights but it was sorted he had internet/home problems so fair enough.

Well I now know lots of lovely info about this guy so I doubt he will get away scot free. Scotland is a lovely place might just take a holiday there soon :)

You have been very kind and helpfull already, at the end of the day this J4RED toe rag has dragged you and your car unknowingly into this which makes him all the worse! Oh and dont feel like S*** its not your fault.

Strangely about 15 mins ago J4RED text my brother (who has been dealing with this guy for me) asking him to please get in contact. He also text to say he never refused to re pay me and its just he is badly in debt, oddly last night he called my brother a tos**r and said as far as he was concerned he was not going to send any payment.
Must of been the fact I phoned where he works today that made him forget what he actually said, glad we saved the those texts!
Maybe if I tell his work place he is a thief and a scum bag he might just think twice before taking the P*** out of me or my brother again!

Anyway Fraud officers have all his details now so lets hope he gets what he deserves.

Well hopefully the police will turn up at his workplace to question him, love to see his face!!!

Police have just left our house, the officer phoned jared's work place and made the manager go and get him!! he has agreed with the officer to pay 3 payments of 50quid over next 3 weeks. if he does not pay it will be handed to scottish police for criminal proceedings.

Sorry to hijack.. but thanks for that mate. I've managed to track down an ex mate that robbed me off 400 quid! i know where he lives now. Its been over a year since he did a runner and ripped me off.. made it worse that he was supposed to be a mate! Living in Bristol now!! Thanks again
