For those of you that remember "Crossroads" whilst doing a little shopping i spied Jill Harvey off of Crossroads doing her weekly shop at Sainsburys in Tamworth!!
Jane Rossington i believe her name was :) Anyone else seen a famous person past or present doing their weekly shop?????? |

I used to drink with Paul Henry who played Benny in Crossroads. Nice lad until he started drinking then turned into knobby knobs from knobville. Met a few names in my life none so up they're own aspic than the guy who played Adam Chance in again Crossroads. He actually believed he needed to be surrounded by bouncers if he so much a popped into his bank

Malandra Burroughs from Hemerroidale Farm in our local Asda and Makro.
Sinaed O'Connor waiting for a bus in Dublin. Bono and Edge having a pint backstage at the Point Depot, NYE 1990 (IIRC). Eddi Reader eating chips backstage at The Fleadh, London Finsbury Park (I nicked a chip :D ) Van Morrison in a lift at The Atlantic Hotel, London. Mike Peters (The Alarm) backstage at a gig in Cardiff. Hazel O'Connor, many places, used to know her quite well. All the Hothouse Flowers (who you all cry) very regularly as I used to tour with them. Lorraine Chase and the old antiques dealer from Hemmoroidale walking along the Leeds/Liverpool Canal in Rodley, Leeds. Frank Bruno buying petrol in my Dad's garage after being at Yorkshire telly when I was a kid. Probably a few more over the years but that'll do for now. Just call me Norman Namedropper :rolleyes: |
