Advice - Scoob incognito
Hi all, Im after a scooby WRX but it will be parked on the road :/, just a terriced lane. In what way can I hide the car, can I make it look just like a standard sport model or any other ideas?
I was toying with the idea of a Forester, but im not too keen on the shape. Anyone else park on the road with problems / no problems Anyone else done anything to hide the model of their car? Cheers all |
where do you live?
down town baghdad? |
lol
Salford near Manchester so...... yep. Its not bad at all really but the place still has a stigma. |
I wouldn't have thought there is any way of effectively disguising the car. Most yobs will know the shape of a scoob, even if it were to be without any rear wing or bonnet vents etc.....

There are car covers. But personally, i would've thought that would attract more attention. I would avoid blue with gold wheels. That sticks out and is more recognisable. |
I would avoid a subaru if you are worried about keeping it on the street.
I get nervous about mine even though it's garaged and off the road in a small village. Everytime I go to band practice I have to leave it on the road from 8pm till 11pm I dread going back to it just in case someones viotlated it! If I were you I would go for something more discreet. However there is the argument that you shouldnt let fear of crime rule the choices you make...... |
Think I will just have to see how it goes then, if its a pain ill have to sell it and grab a turbo forester instead.
Hopefully there should be no problems as my next door but 1 neighbour parks a nice beamer a few cars down. Blue and gold would stick out, i agree :) probably looking at red or silver. Thanks all for your thoughts :) |
