I have three rather nice Defi gauges winging their way to me very soon......

Where do I put them?

Anyone got any pics/suggestions/links to products?

A-pillar? Center?

Cheers guys

Never seen tripple A-pilar pod, only single (what I have got) and double.

Was wondering the same myself as I have MY94 and thus no odment bin thing on dash to put a pod onto.

I would mount them where they would be mounted if I had a odment tray, but you'll have wires trailing which might not look too nice.

My thoughts exactly.... surley someone must have these gauges in their pre-facelift car??????

Would love to have them in the center of the dash... not sure how to go about it though?

Any further thoughts anyone?

Cheers

POC I have seen somewhere an Impreza with the two air vents in the center of the dash removed, that has a custom bezel made for mounting gauges in. I'll keep on looking for it and will post the URL soon. Oh and I fitted that downpipe this weekend, what a noise hahahahaaaa.

Did you fit it yourself Bruce?

Glad you are pleased :)

Thanks for the info, I shall look forward to the link.

POC yes I did fit it myself, took about 4 hours. I also managed to get the heat shields back on. I cannot find the link with the dash conversion, so I have posted a topic in Memebers Gallery as I am sure it was someone on the BBS.

poc, I would think you would struggle with the 60mm gauges. I would go for the 52mm.

TOPCAT is on the lookout for a 4 gauge pod to go there.

I am after a twin A-pillar or possibly a three.

Need to support round air fuel gauge/ water temp oil pressure and one spa gauge. Have no idea where!

I know, this is going to be a right pain :(

I alreay have the 60mm gauges on the way....

Do you rekon the later defi pod could be modified to fit the older dash?

POC

The guy who made the gauge pod is TecknoPete, they are for 52mm gauges.

Story has it hes working on a dash top version for early cars as well.

Cheers.....

Anyone got his email address?
