Reversing Camera fitted
Fitted my reversing camera today and i must say a big THANK YOU to Tissy from the ESC for the camera & bracket which fitted perfectly :notworthy :thumb:
The bracket wasn't to hard to fit once you get your hand behind the bumper you've got quite a bit of room to fit it :) Camera & bracket fitted together before fitting http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...y/01010102.jpg What a lovely fit :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...y/01010104.jpg And again  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...y/01010105.jpg In Action, ignore the cutout in the surround as i'm waiting for a new one http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...y/01010109.jpg |

I found a nice large blanking grommet also on the rear off-side, just below the rear light clusters. You have to remove the carpet trim a little to see it though.
Andy, i also sent you an email. |
looks good - i like the carbon surround too.

Hi,
I noticed you have a kenwood DNX 7200. I am thinking of getting one of these and was wondering what do you think of it and if it is easy to install? Do you have any installation instructions??? cheers |

Well mine is booked into Pulse on Friday
I have had to give up with the bracket Steve made (i'll return it Steve) the Tow Bar made it impossible to get to So thanks to the guys at work they sculptured a nice piece of softwood to the contours of the inside of the bumber and then sealed in white and then stuck in place with gripfill 24 hours latter a perfect place to screw the camera to Roll on Friday |
Well..........any update Phil ??
|
Yep its on
Not sure about the angle but I can play with that ;) |

Are you able to 'flip' the image, so that its similar to what you see in your rear-view mirror? The reason that I ask, is that my new lorry has a conventional image and Im struggling to use it as much as the old one, which could be inverted.
|
am sure mine is "flipped" (unless it's my mind playing tricks on me???) will check tomorrow
|
If so then its just like a rear view mirror, vehicles are on the logical side of the screen and the registration numbers are reversed...
