Lovely motor JJ, someone will snag themselves a tasty motor there
|
Subaru are too expensive, trying a local dealer tonight....
JJ slightly out of my budget I think matey.... I would prefer as near to standard as possoble bar nice rims..... |
Anyone know anything about the sti that is tuned in donnellys boucher...it's 04 but not PPP...some other tuning done to it? whether it's a good car or not for the money? I think the ex owner is called Gareth....£15,500 straight....26k miles I think...
|
You could have mine for that and you would be getting a better car...
Is this the one with the guages on the a piller? |
It is mate yeah.....it's 04 though and only 26 k miles which is a bonus and seems not too bad a price for Donnellys?????
|
be cautious with Donnellys.......they have some bad press, i know maybe not always justified however i have experience of them and it isn't good, i thought buying a sub from a rep dealer (didn't do my research) removed most of the risk.
|
Thanks mate for the advice....still looking for the right car........anyone else know of the 04 STI down at donellys?
|
JJStiuk's looks like a better motor. Don't worry about miles, he is obviously an enthusiast meaning that the car has had much more care than the boys at donnelly's would give.
I was out in three cars from donnelly's about a month ago and each one was taken from completely cold and red lined. Not good!! |
jjs is sold.....so still hunting....
|
Yes mine is sold :(
|
:luxhello: Think I have got a car in England...yipee ....04 sti ppp sonic blue...from dealer...
£1,250 less than what Donellys want....they are awful...just complained to a manager (one of the owners he said he was to) on their sarcastic tone they took with me yesterday.... ''Do you think we give cars away down here!''....was what they said when I tryed to get them to be competitive with an other dealer...not very professional.... Think the comments on here about them are very accurate.....:nono: |

I was out in three cars from donnelly's about a month ago and each one was taken from completely cold and red lined. Not good!! Was it the blond haired idiot Daz, i had the same wi him, asked him how long he worked @ scoobys, only a couple of months he said, asked him did he know anything about scoobys, he said he did, yea right, ya dont fookin rev a scooby cold and then proceeded to tell hime that i wud not buy a car off them as long as he works there.......... this guy used to work for SERE..... |
No it wasn't him but I was speaking to him too I think...
On my test drive they just started the car up, and bang in to the high revs right away....no warm up.... |
so thats 3 of us have had cars thrashed when stone cold from Donnellys. Wonder how many times a scooby can take that before something gives.
Was a very painful experience. :cuckoo: |
