Red oxide paint
 

Guys do any of you know where I can get a hold of some red oxide primer paint? I need it for my Mk1 Golf project to cover up some of the bits I have buffed the rust from to keep it sealed. I had a look at my local halfrauds but didnt see any, if anyone has been doing this kind of work do you think it would be better to use an aerosol or paint it on with a brush and is there any particular brand that you would recommend? Also im up in sunny Scotland so it would either need to be a national retailer or at least someone that would post here.

You can get the Hammerite red oxide from B&Q - I used it to paint an RSJ
