New 19" alloys and Eibach Coilovers fitted :)
 

Hi all,

I've been flat out all day fitting these coilovers... it must be 10 years + since i last got my hands dirty fitting things to cars...

Anyway i'm knackered but i think the end result is well worth it :luxhello: .....i'm well happy to how it's developing...

Thanks guys, yep it is a little tight on the rear... i may well lift it a little but the car is sittin flat... I can just about fit a single finger (ooerr lol) in between the arch and the tyre...

How low, can`t believe you haven`t had to role the arches...

HAve you got any before and after pics?

If you dont mind me asking what wheels are they!!

I've not given it a real drive but i've been round the block and it feels fine... not a huge difference over standard... v easy to live with... even the wife likes it :lol1:

Well as the majority go for OZ wheels i set out to be different... Jeeesus what a task finding wheels to fit over the brembos.....

I had 19" Kahn RSV's on Eibach's and they rubbed a hole in the front offside wheel arch where the bulge is for the air intake .... Bugger !!

Those wheels certainly look different. I like the design and colour, they look the business. Also a bit strange to look at, as they're so unusual.

When I saw the title, I new it would look the b*llocks.

Kensa, how does the car ride with the eibach coilovers, i know the ride quality wont be too great with 19" wheels. I was thinking of getting rid of my avos as even on yhe softest setting they are still too hard, cheers:thumb:

The car looks great,The only problem is you wll have lost alot of it's handling by putting the 19's on

I thought Prodrive did 19" wheels for that version of car :confused:

Thanks mate, not one of my best though... to be honest i've not taken many of the scoob yet as i've only had it during the winter months and it's never looked clean enough lol......

that one was taken with a Canon EOS 5D and Canon 28-70 F2.8 L lens :)

Hmmm yeah your probably right but only when pushed to the limits and how often do any of us really and honestly do that.. i would say normal road handling has MASSIVELY improved since the upgrade...

The ride is suprisngly good..... v easy to live with and certaintly not i would call excessvly hard.... Eibach have never let me down in the past with comfort / performance balance hence why i went with them...
