Itunes
ive hooked my pod back to the pc, and noticed i had lost itunes...
(well i uninstalled it a while back) so i duly downloaded the latest version... now it wont install, it says an earlier version is still there, and to contact tech support... so i searched all folders.... no itunes... no quicktime, and no apple did the same in the registry now empty and it still wont install any ideas mart |
When I had an iPod... I had hooked it up to the computer to transfer another 500 tracks onto it.
It crashed, then my computer froze. After resetting, it had decided to rename 10gbs of music on my computer and iPod as 'unknown artist unknown track' etc.... Couldnt put the tracks into Gracenote as it had no idea which tracks went together to make up each album. Not a happy chappy. Battery then died... sent it back to get a new battery installed for £50... they then said my hard drive needed replacing and would cost an additional £170. I said, don't worry, just replace the battery. They refused and tried to sell me another iPod. Like I would after their shoddy customer service. I tried the forbidden fruit.... and realised it was indeed maggot ridden. Er sorry. Rant over. Anyway... I had similar issues with a game once... all registry files relating to ipod/apple need to be erased - not just the obvious ones.... Not sure what else it could be :wonder: |
