Grease On Seat!!!

Having bought a load of the greasiest calzone pizzas from a take away, my mate had the boxes on his lap and the bottom box leaked grease all over my seat.

What is the best method of removing this stain? (which may i add looks very suspect). Ive tried using autoglym upholstry cleaner but stain didn't shift.

I have a MY03 STi with the standard alcantara, blue and black seats.

Thought I might ask here before I go and ruin the seat by using the wrong stuff.

Any Ideas :wonder:

Cheers

If its grease mate u will need a citrus/solvent based cleaner (orange) any normal water based cleaners wont work as grease repels water hope this helps:thumb:

It'll probably need either a proper APC or citrus wet wash, so might be worth seeing if a local valeting company can help? Reason is that after a wet wash you should really extract as much moisture from the fabric as possible using an extractor (wet n dry hoover), as this will help prevent mildew from setting in (and save you getting a wet bum for days afterwards!). Should only cost £20-£30 tops. If you fancy another DIY attempt, then P21S Total Auto Wash diluted 4:1 is a good bet, gently worked in with work towels, then wiped off as much as possible with damp work towels. :)
