Grrrrrr, pot holes

Over the past couple of weeks, the front offside tyre on the Scoob has been losing pressure. So I took myself up to Elite to get it fixed. The guy comes out and says "You've kerbed it", I say "I don't think so". With that he points to the INSIDE tyre wall, low and behold there's a huge bulge. He says "There's the proof". I said "I know for a fact that I haven't done that". He says "We get it all the time, you probably did it in a pot hole"

The upshot is, I'm now £82 lighter for a new Toyo and am looking out for a replacement P1 wheel as it has now slightly squared off

BTW, Elite are NOT doing an ESC discount at the moment :(

You could always try reporting any potholes that you come across. That way they have a chance to repair them...

The thing is though, I truly cannot recall ever hitting a pot hole that hard to cause the damage mentioned.

I'm the only person to drive the car, therefore I can't even blame Karen ;) :D
