TRACKING OUT???????????
 

Both front Bridgestone 070s (10,000 miles) have worn more on the outer edges than anywhere else on the tread, is this because the tracking`s out or is it my style of driving (fast cornering)? I`m upgrading to 18s soon so wondering if I should get the tracking done to be on the safe side.

A full geometry check would be better (which will include tracking anyway). Could be that you don't have enough negative camber, particularly if the car is as it came out of the factory as the standard suspension tolerances are a bit wide!

Full geometry setup makes a big difference.

I'd definitely get tracking checked. I had same problem and wore off outer shoulders in ~8500 miles (and I'm on motorway 65% of time!)

I had tracking re-set and next set of front tyres have done ~7000 with plenty of tread left so now on rears. I'm not usually hard on tyres and the previous rears had done 42000 miles. Mines a 2005 WRX.

Cheers guys, I`ve heard the standard Subaru geometry is slightly more positive. Maybe go for fast road set up. :)
