Hello people. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

First off, sory for you not getting the oportunity to have a run in my car at donington, turbo blew big style...... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

I picked up a brand new turbo yesterday so will be back up and running very soon. God i'm skint http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

I will be doing a track day at Brands Hatch on Wednesday 29th November (my birthday, hint, hint http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif ) so if any of you who wanted a run at donington can make that day, you are more than welcome.

I am going to be away from thursday morning till monday, so dont expect a reply during that time.

Hope to see you there.

john

Hey John,
Nice to see you have managed to sort the problems out.
Just out of interest, who is organising BH?
Cem

johnfelstead 21 November 2000 03:18 PM

Yeah, I'll have a ride john...

when hell freezes over...

or I stop being the biggest girl in the world! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Would love to, but unfortunately I have no pods at all! LOL

The Zohan 21 November 2000 03:50 PM

John

I would love a ride in your Westfield and like many i was sorry it was 'unwell' at Donnington.
Can't make it to Brands.
Maybe another time?

Yet again, I find myself with the problem of whether I can trust my driver to perform to the high standard required on the forest stages. If he is too scared to ride in a little rollerskate on a wide open bit of tarmac, surely he is far too weak to drive flat out around blind bends in forest ? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

John,
Glad to hear things are back up and running. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Any further work done on chargecooling side of things ? I won't make Brands (pressure of work etc.) but no doubt catch up soon for a blat.

Cheers

Ian

Markus 21 November 2000 05:08 PM

bugger! Brands is my nearest track and I'm probably going to be in manchester on the 29th, would have loved to have a ride after hearing so much about your wee beastie.

BTW - 29th is my brothers birthday as well, so he won't be too impressed if I'm not around

Andrew Timmins 21 November 2000 05:08 PM

I'm glad the Westfield is running again John.

Brands Hatch is a bit far for me to travel but I'll see you again soon no doubt.

Have a great birthday.

I think John is trying to set a new record for number of replies to a post http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Wish I could take you up on that offer. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Maxwell Straker 22 November 2000 09:06 AM

Markus,

The brothers birthday bit is a crappy excuse. Its my wife's birthday on Friday and guess where I will be???????

Hint - mud, rain, Castrol R!!!!!!

PS - The wife will be in work.. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Markus 22 November 2000 09:22 AM

Brothers birthday is part 2 of the excuse, first part is that I'll probably be in rochdale, gotta run a training course up there for two days, and guess when one of the days is, yup, 29th!

Plus I doubt work would be too happy about me taking the 29th off anyway, we;ve got a new product due for release on 30th so things are, umm, hectic, to say the least.

ChrisB 22 November 2000 11:04 AM

What time are you heading down to BH John?

Cheers,

Chris.

Steve Howat 22 November 2000 11:15 AM

John

Wooohooo, I've managed to get the afternoon off so if the offer still stands..... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

I should be able to get there shortly after 1 but no doubt further details will be posted soon....

Looks like I'm the only one from here so far then http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Jon,

I'm thinking of taking the scoob to Brands on the 29th, but while I'm there it would be great to be properly scared by you.
Any restrictions, as I'm 6ft3 and only have an open face lid, so I may be a bit of a wind break in a westie?

dela

johnfelstead 22 November 2000 11:59 AM

I'll be travelling down on tuesday Chris, staying in London.

Size isnt a problem, it's amazing what you can get to fit inside a westfield.

Open Faced Helmet, hmmmmm, do you like nose bleeds?? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif LOL
