Fuel gauge "sticking"? anyone with similar?
 

I'm sure the fuel gauge on my 06 STI is behaving oddly. Looking for anyone with similar or who can confirm if "they all do that".

When I fill to the cut-off the gauge will read 7/8 full, after a couple of miles it will be down to 3/4. Or if I properly brim it, it will read full but after a couple of miles will be down to 7/8. Surely this isn't right??? Dealer's service desk wasn't much help, didn't confirm either way! And a couple of times I've filled and the gauge has only gone to about half full.

Just wondering if it's a feature . . .

On my classic I can fill it up, and it takes over 5 minutes to show as full, on the gauge. Maybe its the same with all of them.
