Will a Catted downpipe from a 2002+ wrx fit a MY99?
 

Seen a good deal on a downpipe with sports cat.... it's for a WRX 02+

Anyone know if this is a straight swop for a MY99 as well?

The newage down pipe is slightly longer mate. Found out the hard way, bought a newage blitz nur spec r which was 4-5 inches to short on my classic.

So in theory I could just cut it, put an extension in and weld it back up?

Or is there more to it than that?
