03 STi with PPP at main dealer

What would you expect to pay for the above car at a Subaru main dealer??

He has told me over the phone that the price on it is going to be £15995

The same type cars can be bought from the autotrader for about 12-14k :thumb:

Realistically, what do you think they will drop their price down to when I go down to see it??

bagpipes 20 March 2007 01:52 PM

Been looking myself, yesterday I was offered a my05 STI PPP, 8000 miles for £18000,00.
Keep looking there is good deals out there, just be patient :thumb:

stilover 20 March 2007 01:53 PM

Offer him what you feel is a fair price. See what others are going for on Autotrader and Pistonhead.

If he says no, walk away and buy another one.

I have an 05 STI PPP and would struggle to get £15995 trade in on a new car.

Put it like this. I sold my 03 STi PPP in Aug 2005 for £15750 with 27K on the clock. Plus it had PFF7 wheels, Prodrive suspension kit, STi strut brace and genuine Sti mud flaps etc etc. It sounds very very over priced to me

scoobybhoy 20 March 2007 02:31 PM

It is crazy the money they ask for the cars at a main dealer aint it?

Steve, that sounds like the type of car I am holding out for, although your carrera2 sounds good too, lol

Geds 20 March 2007 02:38 PM

My pref was for a black 02/03 STI but the Prodrive ones are hard to come by in black especially here in N. Ire. so I settled for a black 02 STI Type UK (not prodrive) 34,000 miles £10K!

Its Donnellys in Belfast where I am talking about Geds, over here we seem to get the short end of the stick as far as prices go, I will probably go over to england to get my car when the right one comes along!

Think it very much depends on where and what you are trading against.

I only got 15k for my 05 STI ppp (pff7's) against a lotus.

Trading for another scoob would be most profitable methinks.

Elmer Fudpucker 20 March 2007 04:06 PM

I'm getting 15.5k p-x on my 05 PPP with Prodrive springs @22k miles

..but am currently open to any offers on that untill trade in Day arrives;)

I went to Wales.

Buy on the mainland and sell on the island, save a grand at least!
