Fitting Electronic Boost Gauge?

Hi

About to replace my mechanical boost gauge with an electronic version (adding oil temp and pressure at same time)

Question is.... where do i wire the 3 sensor wires into on a Classic STi?

picture below is the item in question (although mine does not have the plug on the end... just 3 wires

Thanks in advance!

That's an odd looking thing. It APPEARS to have a fixing for a pipe on the rear?

Is it a pic of the "sensor" or transducer, that changes the pressure signals from the boost pipe, dump valve, manifold or whatever, into electrical signals? Or is it the gauge?

Any idea of the make, btw?

I'm glad you asked this as I was about to do the same! :D

Are the gauges from the Prosport group buy that was on here as that 'thingy' looks the same as I have.

So...............is that what it is, then, a "thingy" with the gauge seperate?

Guys, this is the transducer which indeed converts the pressure into an electrical signal.

A 'T' piece is fitted onto the existing hose and then this is taped into the transducer.

Normally speaking the Red is +ve, Black is GND and then White is the SIGNAL wire to the gauge itself.

Then on the gauge you have the same Red is +ve, Black is GND and then White is the SIGNAL from the transducer unit.

Have a look at the PDF guide (with pictures) i compiled here Subaru Impreza CarPC

Hope it helps.

Where are people taking their power feeds from and what amp are you using for any in-line fuse?

I'm going to run the gauges in a series.
