Compression Ratio's??
 
think my head gasket might of gone pop just wondered if anyone has the compression ratios for a classic shape scoobs import if that makes a diffirence, Engine code is EJ20

You don’t really need to no the compression ratio in order to replace the oe head gasket. This would only be useful if you wanted to change the CR by using a different gasket thickness.

Should be 8.0:1

When checking cylinder pressures, that should equate to around 150 psi give or take 10 or so. Obviously what your looking for is differnces in the result between cylinders rather than the actual reading, so the actual figure isn't that important, so long as they are relatively similar for all the cylinders (unless its very low ;) ).

The phase 1 import Ej20 (versions 1 & 2) have a Cr of 8.5:1. But as said above, you don't need to know it.
