Oh dear :lol1:

cold tyres and wet though, i'd be pretty gutted at that one.

I do feel for the guys, it's not like they were being idiots or anything, the conditions were probably not great and as RB5 says, the tyres were probably cold.

Still, never nice to see. Does anyone know how much damage was caused?

Should look on my own forum really, shouldn't I?

Unless they were R rated tyres it would not matter that the tyres were cold.

Subaru drivers make "the tyres were cold" argument.

Road tyres are desinged to work from cold.

Poor chaps. It did not look like it gave him much warning before it let go. Maybe one day I should get one of those cars and teach myself about rwd - just not publicly at first :lol1:

Yeah, they're better than race tyres but hardly any use cold. That was a classic cold tyre spin. Spun the rears up and too cold to regain traction. As said caution would have been usefull but not really the guys fault. Luckily the damage didn't look too bad.

Looks to me like they clipped the kerb, which was wet. I think Ringmeisters will tell you that's not a good idea!

Remember what happened to JC in the jag on Top gear?
