Thats fascinating:sleep:

In your post you mentioned Evo and TG. On TG, the CLS 55AMG and M5 were 10s of a second apart.
In Evo magazine if you look under 'supersaloons' it says that the CLS runs the M5 a very close second in dynamics but is the better car if long journies are thrown in to the equation

Top Gear - Mercedes CLS 55 - Google Video

And by the way, according to the post above you 'wasted' a 230 BHP 0-60 in 6.8s diesel. Well done:lol1: :lol1: :luxhello:

What is fascinating is that Motorvision DSF track tests are a bit more "realistic" than some of the TG and EVO ones, but mostly TG does not do very well. Fifth Gear on the other hand actually is better IMO.

Tell me why is motorvisions DSF track a bit more realistic?

Maybe because their track rules, like the Fifth Gear one:

Deep singe, unfortunately due to knobs like you people in those cars always think they are faster than anything else on the road.

It is due to the fact thay they pay through their eyes to buy a POS Merc, and thus they think it goes...... :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :hjtwofing :hjtwofing :hjtwofing

Can't be knobs like me sonny because I don't drive a compact diesel like the one you 'wasted':lol1:

You however are exactly that kind of knob (bit like the momo one in your car profile:lol1: ) because you come on here bragging about 'wasting' cars on the road. I've never done that.

Btw, I've never heard the expression 'pay through their eyes'

Do you mean through the nose?:iamwithst  :luxhello:

OK, I stand corrected.

However, AMG don't do a C30 anymore - that report is from 2002.

It was also not available in the UK.

So you wasted an old merc with less power than a 335d BMW that you couldn't buy in the UK.

Big deal :lol1:

Anyway, moving on

No one here has yet driven the new c class, so all we can go on are mag reviews.

Autocar preferred the equivalent 3 series.

"As a sports saloon it’s not quite so successful, if still a highly competent steer. There’s plenty of grip and composure up until eight-tenths, beyond which it lacks the genuine sporting poise and entertainment of a 3-series"

Its interior, in particular, looks cheap and nasty and there were comments of "only just acceptable" with the 3 series having a better driving position and better switchgear.

I could call your subaru a POS just because I prefer comfort over speed but im not childish like you apparently are.

LOL burn a 230hp diesel merc. I bet the guy wasnt even trying to race you, yet rather smugly smiling to yourself as you go blazing down the road like satans possesed thinking how for some reason superior because you were "clever" enough to buy a scooby.

I always find mags views on interiors as subjective as their views on the exterior.

For someone who had to go away for 2 days and Google the Merc info to even get a clue, I would not be trying to tell other people what is right or not.

You must have some genetic connection to AudiNoob, and Shallow singe, because you are thick as it gets! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Just because I didn't post for two days you "assume" I was away googling the merc for info :lol1:

You repeated a previously posted link. I got my info from the post above, in about 20 seconds. The 20 seconds before I posted. I suspect my effort was somewhat less than yours, for the same outcome.

Therefore, if I am as thick as it gets where does that place you?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending AudiLover. He's as big an idiot as you :)

Agreed, and only personal experience will provide a definative answer.

In the meantime, the pictures in the mag depict a rather messy and cheap looking interior. Gear knob looks like naff plastic, sat nav integration is a mess.

Fine for the base models, but high spec versions will be pushing £50k.

Janspeed is the biggest waste of space on scoobynet.

All he does is talk about how superior he is or his scooby is to everything else. And when hes not doing that he just follows my posts and calls people "noobs".

Janspeed is obviously a "dork" :lol1:
