Help needed scoobys got major power loss
 

Hi, I have got a k-reg wrx classic and I have got a power loss problem. Every time I put my foot down and before the turbo is about to cut in it feels like the car pulls back, it sounds messed up but its hard to explain. I just get no power what so ever, im waiting to be lanched back into the seat but instead it throws me forward. Any help, ideas or anything right now would be much appreciated.

Does the turbo actually kick in?

Some times it does, one minute it runs fine then it runs like crap. Sometimes when I put my foot down it does'nt want to go passed 3,000 revs?

Any ideas
