Internet profile
Been told by my ISP that it takes BT 3 days to reset the profile, as my line had a problem which dropped the speed from 6megs down to 1/2meg.
Why does it take so long? |
they gradually increase the speed on your line and run tests to see if there are errors etc. They keep increasing it until the errors reach a certain margin. If they dont you will get the full speed. leave your router on all day and some say to reset once per day also, dont keep turing it back on and off or this may be picked up as an error
