That really cant be right! Whats wrong with it?:Suspiciou

Probein 01 March 2007 01:55 PM

I don't think I'd risk that, there has to be something horribly wrong somewhere..

If it's a german car should it not have the 2.5 lump not to mention it is lefthand drive.

Steve Whitehorn 01 March 2007 02:03 PM

I know what you are saying guys. It dosenīt seem right.
Almost tempted to go and have look at it as I am only down the road at the moment.
I wonder if the price is a typo. Then again I saw an Evo 7 over here for about 7k the other day.

The other pic shows a red top engine and Sti intercooler so def an Sti. Wonder if it is a right hooker - so hence the price

Worth about 19,000 ish. Going to have look now to see if it for real! for 7,950!

HI Steve,

bummer did you ask about it anyway?

Nope I am still here, my plans were scuppered by the company being put up for sale and them not wanting to send me all the way to NZ without first knowing what was the future direction, that was last june and still no info inspite of a contract being issued and visa etc

Oh well never mind there is still plenty of time. It just means more scooby meets to go to so when you coming upto Stuttfart then or any of the other meets we have ???

Wurzel
When is the next meet. Would really like to come along - meet you and find out a bit more about the scoob scene in Germany - especialy who are the best people to look after them.
(probably in a corsa :( )

I am still aiming to buy a scoob later on in the year. (As I am getting bad withdrawal symptoms).
Still not too sure what to do.
I am used to a good old raw classic WRXs and the like and am sure that a standard Euro Classic 2.0 Turbo would leave me feeling a bit cold.

So
Option 1 - Is to buy a nice sensibly modified classic JDM WRX in the UK and get good value for money - with pretty well much nothing to do to it. Probably find my colour too Mica Blue. BUT the stearing wheel is on the right side! (UK Registered probably)

Option 2 - Is to find a left hooker that an enthusiast has done the right things to and got it all TUV approved etc. But these seem to be as rare as rocking horse sh_t.

Notice that Shell do 100 ron over here and 98 is available most places. So running a JDM wont be a problem. Have also found a Subaru service around the corner that do currently service a couple of JDM higher PS right hookers.
But would rather drive someway and get a real specialist to service it.

So just finding my feet and looking into it all.
Where do you service yours? Is it a reasonable drive away from Munich. If you ever fancy a day out in this neck of the woods let me know.
Cheers
Steve
