Hosting a proxy server to get around company proxy
 

A while ago an ex colleage of mine set up and hosted a proxy that basically mashed the url in such a way that the works proxy did not filter. Ebay at my company is banned and I am looking to get around the poxy.

I have searched around a little but have not found anything.

Any clues.

Be aware that doing this is usually a sackable offence if you are caught...

If you have a PC at home, use something like http://www.logmein.com to connect to it and do all your dodgy browsing from there.
